A responsible traveller obviously will not waste energy. The tips below applies equally to eco-camps where electricity comes from solar panels.
- Make sure to switch off the light when you dont need it – and you leave your room
- Switch off the TV and any stand-by
- Unplug the fridge if you dont use it (usually there’s nothing in there that will go bad, but check first)
- Don’t use a hair-dryer (unless there’s a cocktail party on 😉 )
- Take short showers
Go to bed early and get up with the sun!
Mornings are the best for viewing wildlife anyway – so get up and get out – you are there to get the most of it!
